Proposal planning
From the first idea to the moment you ask, we plan every part of your proposal and keep it secret, so you can focus on the question.

A proposal looks simple in the photos: two people, a view, a ring. Behind it there are a dozen small decisions, and we make them with you.
How it works
Send your date, where you'll stay and a little about your partner and the moment you imagine.
We suggest two or three places and setups that suit you, with timings and a tailored quote.
A deposit secures your date, your setup and your photographer.
A few days before, you get a timeline: meeting point, cover story, the signal and a weather check.
The setup is ready and someone is with it, the photographer is hidden, and you ask. We take care of the rest.
A proposal abroad has one big risk: the person you're surprising is usually right next to you. We only contact you on the number or email you choose, never mention the proposal anywhere your partner could see it, and keep messages short. Need a reason to be at a viewpoint at 20:24 on a Tuesday? We'll help you with a believable one: a photoshoot for the trip, a dinner reservation, a sunset walk a friend recommended.
Not everyone wants an audience. For shy partners we look for quiet gardens and early mornings; for people who love a big moment there's the rose heart at sunset. We also plan proposals with children in the photos, or with friends and family hidden nearby, ready to come out after the yes.
Most proposals happen in the last hour before sunset, when the light is warm and the city glows. Sunrise is the secret alternative: the viewpoints are almost empty and the light is just as soft. In June the sun sets just after 21:00; in December it's around 17:15. We send you the exact times for your date.
Questions
We start with your date and your story, suggest places, setups and timings, and send a tailored quote. Then we prepare everything and send you a timeline with a meeting point, a cover story and a signal for when to ask.
There's no fixed price list: every proposal is quoted individually, depending on the setup, the place, the time and whether you add video. Send us your idea and date and we'll reply with options.
Yes, but timing matters. Viewpoints like Senhora do Monte and Santa Luzia are public and busy most of the day, so we plan around the quieter times and keep the setup small there. For a bigger setup we suggest a private terrace, a garden or the beach.
Running late, a sudden shower, a cloud in the wrong place: it happens. We stay in touch with you all day and can move the moment by a few minutes or switch to the backup spot.
Yes. A deposit confirms your date, setup and photographer. The details are in our booking terms.
